Description
The operation of the Series 1001, 1001A, and 1001XL level controllers is based on the Force Balance Principle. The Force Balance Principle states when an object is submerged in a liquid, it creates a buoyant force that is proportional to the weight of the liquid displaced. A Norriseal level controller uses a spring to balance the weight of a displacement-type element (displacer), eliminating the need for custom-weighted displacers and floats.
